Your photo never leaves your device. What Bird Are You? processes your photo entirely in your browser. We do not upload it, transmit it, store it, or receive a copy of it.

What stays on your device

Your selected photo, the face and pose information used to make the morph, and the result image exist only in your browser while you use the app. Starting over or leaving the result clears the temporary browser resources used for that session.

Cookies, analytics, and accounts

This site sets no cookies, has no accounts, and runs no analytics. There is no backend for photo processing and no result gallery or share link because there is nothing to store.

Links you choose to open

The only external navigation in the app is an eBird species link that you choose to click. It opens in a new tab. Once you leave this site, that destination’s own privacy practices apply.
